1.Who we are

DocMyRepos is created and operated by David Camargo (trading as Dash AI) (“we”). Dash AI is the name we trade under; it is not a company. You can reach us at legal@dashai.work.

2.Accepting these Terms

By using the website or the hosted DocMyRepos service (the “Service”), you accept these Terms. The Service is for business and professional use, not for consumers. If you accept the Terms for an organization, you confirm that you can bind it, and “you” means that organization.

3.The Service and plans

The Service syncs the documentation folders of the GitHub repositories you choose and serves them as one searchable portal for your organization. The hosted Service is not open yet: until it opens, only the website and the waitlist are available. Plans, limits and prices are published on the website before the hosted Service opens and form part of these Terms.

A workspace covers one GitHub organization. Each plan caps the number of repositories and, where stated, users in a workspace.

4.Accounts and acceptable use

You sign in with GitHub and are responsible for your account and for the people you give access. Do not:

  • use the Service for anything unlawful or that infringes someone’s rights;
  • attack, scan or overload the Service, or try to get around its limits;
  • resell or sublicense the Service unless we agree in writing.

5.Fees and billing

The website and the waitlist are free. When paid plans open, they are billed monthly in advance, in US dollars, at the price shown when you subscribe, plus taxes where the law requires them. We tell you before a price change reaches you, and you can cancel before it does. Unless the law says otherwise, we do not refund fees already paid.

6.Your content and GitHub access

You keep all rights in your repositories and documents. We read them, read-only, through the GitHub App you install, and only to provide the Service. You confirm that you are allowed to let us process them.

If your documentation contains personal data, we process it on your behalf and on your instructions, and we sign a data processing agreement on request. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

7.Open-source software

DocMyRepos can also be self-hosted. That software is open source under the MIT license, which governs it. These Terms apply to the website and the hosted Service, not to your own installation.

8.Availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep the Service running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or retire features. If a change materially affects you, we tell you in advance where we reasonably can.

9.Termination

You can stop using the Service and cancel your plan at any time. We can suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if it is needed to protect the Service or other people, or if the law requires it. When your account ends, we delete the content we synced from your repositories, and in any case within 30 days.

10.Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Answers produced by the optional assistant can be wrong: check the references they give.

11.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost revenue or lost data. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for willful misconduct or gross negligence, or any right you have under mandatory law.

12.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For a material change we notify you on the website or by email at least 15 days before it applies to you. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the new Terms. These Terms are published in English and Spanish; if they differ, the English version prevails.

13.Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Colombia. Before starting any proceeding, write to us and give us 30 days to try to settle the matter in good faith. Any dispute that is not settled goes to the competent courts of Colombia, without limiting any right you have under mandatory law to go to the courts of your own country.
